Brussels, 25 June 2025 – Fedima, the European federation representing the bakery, patisserie, and confectionery ingredients sector, is proud to announce the extension of the application period for the Fedima Grant for Local Sustainable Initiatives until August 15th, 2025.
Launched earlier this year, the grant offers €20,000 to support small businesses, bakeries, craft bakers, and research institutes in developing sustainable solutions that drive environmental, social, and economic progress within the industry.
With growing interest from across Europe, the extension aims to give local actors the opportunity to fully develop their ideas and apply. The decision to extend the deadline reflects Fedima’s commitment to reaching as many parts of the sector as possible and ensuring that all eligible stakeholders have the opportunity to submit their proposals and bring their projects to life.
Applicants from the EU, EFTA countries, the UK, and Turkey are eligible to apply. Projects should aim to drive positive impact in areas such as circular economy, waste reduction, responsible sourcing, sustainable packaging, energy efficiency, nutrition, and more.
