All Members (national associations and their members) have direct access to join the General Assembly meeting which takes place once a year in a European city. Our annual report encompasses a progress report on the dossiers which are currently dealt within Fedima.

Every Member delegates a representative to the Executive Committee which is the main decision-making body of Fedima. The Executive Committee meetings are prepared by the Presidium which is composed of the President, two Vice-Presidents and the Chairman of the Technical Committee.

All Committees, of which the Technical Committee is permanent, report directly to the Executive Committee.

The Technical Committee is composed of experts delegated by the members. It evaluates all regulatory and food safety issues of interest of Fedima and formulates recommendations for decision and actions to the Executive Committee.

The Working Group on Environmental Sustainability deals with several projects on the topic of environmental sustainability. It will set-up a guidance document for the sector on energy, packaging and water as well as develop the communication strategy of Fedima on this issue.

The Secretary-General is responsible of the daily management of the association in Brussels.
